Precast concrete and steel driven piling for industrial, marine and infrastructure foundations.
What is driven piling?
Driven piling installs precast concrete, steel or timber piles by driving them into the ground using an impact hammer or vibratory driver, displacing or compacting surrounding soil rather than removing it.
Engineering application
Driven piles develop capacity through end-bearing, skin friction, or both, and are widely used for industrial, marine and infrastructure foundations where ground conditions and access suit percussive or vibratory installation.

Advantages
- Pile capacity can be verified during driving using set/blow-count records

Considerations
- Vibration and noise are higher than CFA or bored piling — less suited to sensitive urban sites
- Pile lengths must be estimated in advance for precast sections
- Ground obstructions can cause pile damage or refusal
